The International PPP Platform Turkey presents an excellent model for building PPP expertise. The Turkish government has involved specialists from the private sector to launch this initiative, which has resulted in mutual learning and a true public-private partnership.

Given the important challenge regarding the infrastructure in the Black Sea region, the Caucasus, and Central Asia, modernization is needed and Turkey can provide valuable experience and knowledge on PPP. http://www.unece.org/ceci/documents/2010/ppp/eArticles3/eNewsletter3.pdf PAST CONFERENCE: Addressing the challenge of doing PPPs in the Black Sea Region, the Caucasus and Central Asia 29-30 April 2010, Istanbul, TurkeyBy Av.
